Okay, I’m the first to admit that I have never previously been a fan of kitten heels. I used to associate them with the nice old lady who was the librarian at the public library near my middle school. The power of the fashion industry has persuaded me to feel otherwise. I feel like I say this a lot – but the coolest part about kitten heels is that you can dress them up or down. I’ve seen people wearing them on the streets of New York with a pair of cropped straight leg ripped jeans and am in love.
The nerd in me did a bit of research on this topic and discovered that traditional kitten heels actually still look frumpy – despite the fashion industry’s persuasion. For me, if you’re going to do a pair of kitten heels, they have to have one element of excitement, or they do could look like old librarian shoes. Here’s is a “fun” grid I put together that shoes kitten heels by price by style! Everyone should be able to find at least one that works for their personal stye! I personally have already bought two pairs of these to replace my everyday flats (which, if you follow me you know I rarely wear because I am so short!) Most of them are comfortable, or at least way more comfortable than a heel, and make any outfit look really put together!
