I struggle at times to implement some of the more “fun” trends into my work wardrobe. As much as I’d love to – you can’t exactly wear Harem pants* or platforms to the office. Cropped flare pants are a tough trend for me. First, I think they are SO chic, but at only 5’1 they aren’t always the most flattering! I also think at times the trend could come off a bit too extreme for work.
And then I found these. Because the Veronica Beard crop flare pants are fitted on top and only subtly cropped, I think they are totally office appropriate. I love pairing them with a more conservative top like a bow blouse. Although I can’t exactly wear open toe shoes to my office, I thought these nudist shoes looked awesome with the pant and could definitely be pulled off for any non-finance women out there. If you are in a more business professional environment try a fun pump if you are keeping the top conservative.
One last tip: If you can’t find a bow blouse you LOVE, try getting a narrow silk scarf and tying it around any blouse. I love this one because it has a fun pattern.
