the new pin stripe

Trying to step out of the box a little by mixing prints here. Navy is my favorite neutral color to wear to the work,  and because it is so neutral, mixing navy prints works out really well. I never thought I could make pin stripes cool, but when I saw these pants, I knew it was worth a try. The top is from Zara and a great basic for either the office or the weekend. I’ve worn it both with ripped jeans and sneakers and also with a pair of wide legs and chunky heels at night. I decided to keep the bag and shoes simple to not clash with the (many) stripes in this look.

As a side note – The Topshop pants fit awesome and are so comfortable (almost as comfortable as my typical Rag and Bone “leggings!”) They run a bit big, so size down. I went with the petite version and thought they length was just right (and I am 5’1.)
