I have been so excited to post about this jacket!! I got this piece a few months ago and have been dreaming of colder weather so I could wear it. Once I started wearing it, I couldn’t stop! It is almost embarrassing how much I wear this jacket, I wear it to work, I wear it on the weekends with ripped jeans and sneakers, and I wear it out at night. It just seems to perfectly complete almost every look… and fits with almost anything I put on. Most importantly, when I wear it, I feel like I can channel my inner Balmain and feel ever so stylish. Maybe I’ve become obsessed, but maybe I also just discovered a piece that belongs in every girl’s wardrobe 🙂 When searching the web for similar blazers, I found out how fantastic the one I purchased really was. Although the gold buttoned, sailor-esque jacket look is all over the magazines, finding the right one could be a challenge!
My one tip: It’s all about the proportions. If you’re going for the longer blazer look be sure the the length covers your front pockets (and most of your back pockets). If you’re going for a cropped blazer look, be sure that the length just skims the top of your waist band.
Blazer: Exclusive for Intermix Military Blazer I also like this gold buttoned blazer from J Crew and the Sailor blazer from Revolve (although this one is definitely more casual looking)
Pants: (Yes, yes, yes I have a thing for wide leg pants!) Stella McCartney 70s Flare Jean – I also own the Frame Denim wide leg jeans that I love!
Nails: Vinylux Decadence (my favorite color for fall!)
