I totally have a thing for pleats! Soon after falling in love with the DVF skirt from Monday’s post, I saw this stunner in the Club Monaco window. The light fabric makes this blazer a perfect transitional piece to wear from summer through fall and I am already envisioning it with a patterned scarf around my neck (similar to my belt!) I found this old Hermes silk twilly (they are known to be wrapped around your wrist, or worn on a bag) and decided to make a faux belt out if it linking it through only the first two belt loops and making a knot in the front. I have a feeling this is going to start to be a habit for me because I was so pleasantly surprised with how cute it came out – and got plenty of compliments in the office! As an added plus, silk scarves (not just Hermes) are a great way to make any look feel more sophisticated. I found a bunch on One Kings Lane on sale that I will certainly be purchasing soon to spruce up my “collection” (that only consists of this one…)
