First of all – There has been a ton of press lately around Essena O’Neil boldly signing off of social media. As a relatively new blogger, this story not only made me emotional, but also got me thinking a lot about how I could be more “real” with my readers. If it means anything to anyone reading this – I promise I do all of my hair and makeup myself, and do not use any additional products/effort than what I use on (MOST) normal days of work! When I’m feeling extra exhausted, I do ditch the eye liner and mascara and I promise you that! More to come on this…

On this look: Two of my favorite things all in one outfit – big, feminine bows and twirly skirts! I am proud to say I have loved bow blouses for years and am thrilled to see them in almost every storefront this season. This Tory Burch bow blouse has an awesome fit and a very plush bow (which I am a huge fan of). I decided to keep the look extra girly and pair it with a flutter skirt. Mine is an A-Line Carven skirt from last season (they made the same shape in black this year that I love, too). I pulled some great alternatives for both the bow blouse and the flutter skirts below.
