an unexpected fashion statement

I used to think of Ann Taylor as a great place to find work basics. I stopped in the store this weekend and had an interesting realization! Although they still are great for basics, what was unexpected, was finding a ton of fashion forward, statement making pieces. I saw this print and instantly thought high fashion. Especially when you pair the matching skirt and top together, it feels Pucci! Right? And, I can’t help but love the prices and ongoing promotions (tops are currently 40% off with code TOPITOFF!)

I love mixing “high and low” so to make the look feel even more “lux” I paired the skirt and top with a high-end belt. This belt happens to be my new favorite. It’s Miu Miu and has been worth the splurge (for me.) I haven’t found anything yet that it doesn’t look good with. I also really like this belt as a better priced option! It is missing the embellishment on the buckle, but has a similar effect.
