I’m a huge fan of wearing white all year long, but I especially love wearing white in the winter. There is something extra sophisticated to me about winter white and yes, especially in an office setting. White and beige are two of my favorite winter neutrals and I find that they actually look great when worn together.
I know what you’re thinking, winter is almost over!! Why spend any more energy on winter clothes? Well, a few reasons: 1. Now is the best time to get great winter staples on MAJOR SALE and 2. If you live on the East Coast it very much still feels like winter and we are expecting a huge blizzard coming Tuesday… soooo….
Let’s start with these Theory pants because I am sort of obsessed with them. The crop flare trend is not always the easiest to pull off in the office, but I thought these had the perfect amount of “crop” and “flare” to stay appropriate. I also love the neutral off-white color that works from fall – spring. The best part…. they are over 50% off and a steal forĀ Theory (at $130.) I also found them in a gray color (another great neutral) that I may have to purchase for myself, also over 50% off.
My default when I am cold, lazy, and tired in the middle of winter is to throw on a cozy turtleneck. As much as I always want to look polished and professional, comfort is key in the dead of winter when its bitter outside. That’s why I love turtlenecks, they accomplish both polish and comfort. And everyone should own this neutral off-white one from Asos. It is 100% cashmere and under $100.
Lastly, the camel jacket I am wearing is old from Theory and I cannot find it anywhere! However, its pretty easy to find a tan wool/ cashmere simple jacket and I found a few I really liked. This tan coat from Asos has some nice pocket details and is a great neutral transitional piece into spring.
Hope everyone stays warm this week!
