First – and most importantly, I hope everyone in New York is okay and safe. I was lucky to be out on Colorado last weekend, but the attack that happened was really scary and my heart goes out to everyone who was here. You’re never expecting these things to happen, and my heart sank when I saw the Google alert while checking emails in the middle of songs while at a wedding. Stay strong NYC!
I got back from Colorado late last night and am so excited to share all my photos with you! Although I’m an insomniac, I didn’t get up early enough to go through them all before work this morning, but I did forget to post this look from last week!
I think a monotone look is so chic. I’ve done all navy before and all of the other neutrals, but never with such a… bold color. I bought these pink pants about two years ago around spring time and have typically only worn them in the warm weather months, but when I tried them on with this deeper, Ann Taylor pink blouse, I thought the look worked for fall. Now I have one less thing to store under my bed for the winter 🙂
I have to give a shout out to Warby Parker, as well. I bought these Beckett sage and saddle eyeglasses over six months ago and the prescription just felt off. I was honestly too busy (and lazy) to go all the way back to the Warby Parker store to have the prescription checked but six months later, after my annual eye checkup, I confirmed that the prescription was, in fact, wrong. I called Warby Parker and within minutes, they sent me a free shipping label to send the glasses back (even though I had owned them for six months!!) and offered to fix them for free. To top it off – they expedited the whole process because they felt bad that the glasses were giving me headaches. Love you Warby Parker!! I will now be wearing a lot more of these!
