You can never go wrong with an all neutral outfit – especially on a Friday when you don’t want to have to think a lot in the morning. As a smaller person, I was always a bit hesitant before wearing 1. wider leg cropped pants and 2. chokers that make your neck look shorter, and in this outfit I’m wearing both… well sort of.

What I love about this look is that it highlights two trends we’ve seen all summer (chokers and wide leg crops) but in a very work appropriate way – that I think actually makes the trends more wearable too!

The pants are the J.Crew Sammie pants – and I am eyeing the Oxblood color for the fall. They are very comfortable and also look cute with slip on loafers or any other flat you might prefer over these silly heels for a Friday!

Silk scarves could start to look a little bit frumpy but I think when you “dress them down” and pair them with more casual looks, they take on a really cool effect that resembles wearing a choker on the weekend! I decided to keep it neutral with the print, but depending on your office vibes you can probably go a bit “crazier” and play around with fun prints and colors.
