black blazer (with flair!)

It’s not a secret that Anna Wintour hates the color black – and I doubt I’ll be the one to convince her of why all black could be a powerful office look. Where I agree with her is that black could come off boring and although us corporate gals don’t necessarily want to come off  too “cool” and “loud” in the office, there are ways to stay current and bold. When going for an all black look, I try to add a little “flair” by avoiding the all basic black blazers and picking ones with interesting details. The jacket above is TopShop but shop some of my other favorite black jackets with flair below! A solid black blazer is a staple to any working girl’s wardrobe – sorry Anna!

The jacket above has really cool sheer paneling on the sleeve and an awesome silver hook belt detail. The others I pulled range from stripes (which I am in love with this spring), chunky silver buttons, to interesting hem lines.
