Happy snow day! As much as I LOVE waking up to snowflakes filling my window – I equally hate having to get to work! Snowy days should be for sitting home in pajamas all day, cuddling with a dog, drinking hot chocolate, wearing fuzzy socks…. [insert more stereotypical snow day activities] Instead – us corporate gals have to get our butts out of bed, tights on, proper shoes ready and head to the office. That is why it is utterly essential that you have some comfy “bad weather” day outfits and this is my “go to.” This J. Crew turtleneck is the right length to be worn out over a skirt (which for me are always more comfortable than pants) and is currently 25% off using the code SHOPSALE. Dot tights are not the warmest but do a good job of making an otherwise “shlumpy (?)” looking outfit have a trendy, more “put-together” flair. I also love mixing my weekend bags with work clothes and especially when the weather is bad like to throw on a cross body so my hands are free for an umbrella!
Walking to work in inclement weather is not the time to whip out your fav shoes (I’m wearing mine above). Some great walk-to-work options are below. I think comfort and durability are most important, but the options below are still [somewhat] professional looking.

Gianvitto Rossi shoes / similar
