what are you wearing on Monday?

It’s (almost) fall!! But it’s definitely still warm out here in New York. If you’re anything like me, you’re ready to bring out the suede and the deep colors, but are still faced with 80 degree weather. I thought this skirt was a great transitional piece to be worn this time of year without tights and later on with a thick gray tight underneath and maybe boots? I love everything Kooples this season and seriously appreciate the bit of edge they put into work appropriate pieces. Do you see the little silver chain draping over the side? I mean…. 

Going into the season, I had my eye on a grey bag/shoe combination and excitedly decided on this number while on my last trip to Europe (…. loving the strong dollar). Let me know what you think! As you know, I’m a huge fan of Tory Burch this season, and thought her grey, smaller tote could also do the trick. As for the shoes, the Sergio Rossi’s were “made for me” with the built in half-inch platform – but if you’re not as petite as me, I thought the Steve Madden ones would make for a nice every day pair! 

My favorite thing do to on Sunday’s: Cook a nice dinner & get in bed extra early so I feel energized on Monday for the week ahead 🙂
