August flowers . . .

I’m sure all of you working ladies out there have experienced the post-vacation lull – I am certainly experiencing it in full swing! With that said, what better way to cure this lull than trying to wear some vacation outfits to the office!? (Okay – I know, that was a stretch). But in all seriousness, when looking back at these pictures, I saw huge potential in this Haute Hippie top. l’m pretty adamant about purchasing pieces that could be worn at many different occasions and I think this little outfit is a perfect example of this. Take this floral top – (1) throw it on with some white wide leg trousers and it’s a perfect summer work outfit. (2) Pair it with light wash jeans (maybe with some rips?) and it’s great for Saturday “brunch with the girls” at a trendy restaurant and other situations where you want to look trendy without trying too hard (but secretly planned your outfit days in advance). Last but certainly not least (3) Pair it with a feminine skirt (I happen to love the matching one I am wearing here) and it is great for a summer night out, or even a bridal shower, engagement party, charity event…  the possibilities are endless! 

The pictures below are from a date night out in St. Tropez. I wore this look from a trendy dinner, to a hotel patio for drinks and lastly… to a nightclub (which I had to drag my husband too, but was totally worth it!)
