this tie, though

I took a trip to London in the fall and immediately fell in love with the menswear vibes throughout the city. I stumbled upon this shirt at one of my favorite stories, Claudie Pierlot, and knew it was a must-have! Although a risk in the office, it has certainly been a conversation starter (even from the least fashionable colleagues I have.) It’s fairly versatile, and in addition to pairing it with a simple black skirt and pumps, I’ve worn it on the weekends with a loose fitting, cotton gray sweater thrown over and a pair of motorcycle boots. I hope you all like this one as much as I do – it’s one of my absolute favorites!

Added bonus: Men get intimidated by women wearing ties, especially ties that are cooler than theirs. This is particularly effective when you need to push back on an assignment, speak up (perhaps too loudly) in a meeting, or ask for an extension to a deadline.
